Cargo cabin is a versatile cabin designed to serve as a full-time tiny home, granny annexe, holiday rental cabin, private studio, office, sauna or even a hotel guest suite. rabble lab offers custom-made prefabricated cabins designs for operators, startups, and landowners. These cabins are ideal for hotels, additional living spaces, companies looking for additional office space, retreats, or holiday rentals.

Design and ready to go - off the shelve 

The Cargo Cabin is a convenient prefabricated solution with a fixed design that includes, pre-determined floor plans, door and window positioning, and a set material palette from which you can choose from. 
It stands out as the most budget-friendly option, ensuring excellent value for your investment.

Some of the key features are:

    • Designed for mobility or easy relocation.

    • Locally sourced timber that is appropriately suited for your needs.

    • We offer a comprehensive electrical fit-out service that addresses all your requirements, including built-in redundancy for added reliability.

    • The pricing may vary depending on the unit's intended function. An empty shell for a studio space would be more cost-effective than a fully furnished unit designed for short-term rentals. Prices start at E 200,000 and can increase based on customization and functionality. Please contact us for a quote.

    • We offer a custom material palette tailored to meet our clients' preferences while drawing from a set selection of materials.

    • We enjoy experimenting and adding a touch of creativity to ensure that each cabin is unique and personalised.

    • All our designs are aligned with sustainable building practices. Extensive consideration is given to each material choice and its efficient utilization, emphasizing predetermined sustainable principles throughout the construction process.

    • Timber is our friend and we try to source as much as we can locally.

    • The thermal properties of our various cladding systems are world-class.

    • Passive solar design practices are discussed in the brief with the client to optimize site performance. In the end we are practicing Architects!

    • Rain water is gold, and we try to harvest asmuch rain as we can depending on the client.
